The meat loaf was exactly like my Nana's! The service is spot on, not hoovering too much and they help each other so your glass of sweet tea will never go empty. The carrot cake is sublime. It has a cream cheese icing which is very complimentary to the cake. Compliments to the Cook! I'll always stop in when ever I'm in the area.

First time visit and first time trying Ground Steak (we discovered it in a brochure at our hotel). Seems as though it needed to be heated. Congealed fat in the meat was not appetizing. Green beans had some seasoning. Hard to mess up a sweet potato, so it was good. Chocolate caramel cake was very good. Waitress was very nice and attentive. Worn facilities that are in need of a remodel.
I knew I was in the right place when you can’t find a parking spot! Food was great and came out quickly. Service was awesome. We had Philly cheesesteak and a BLT. The buffalo chips were the prize though! Greatness!
Nice country style restaurant. I enjoyed my cheese omelet, shredded hashbrowns, hot cinnamon apples & biscuit. I considered getting a lunch plate of vegetable sides but they do add ham to green beans and other than collard greens had no other actual vegetables besides mashed potatoes, mac & cheese most either either deep fried or not so healthy options but good if craving some comfort food.

Excellent food and excellent Service (Thanks Eva.) We were skeptical after reading reviews about service and cost. Not sure what people are talking about, but the prices were great and good food. Felt like home cooked and not a volume restaurant style.. except maybe French fries. Services were prompt and staff was on top of things. Everyone out there was busy waiting or serving. It's an older place and the floor is old style tile and grouts and is not conducive to keeping squeaky clean all the time like newer ones..but they keep it clean. The tables were clean. A must for travelers looking for unique places to try. Well worth it and not way out of the way off of highways. Support local business.
